First off when you have bad credit it seems extremely hard to find a place to rent. But renting with bad credit can be done, if you go about it in the right way. First off you will need to find someone who is willing to work with you.
A lot of real estate companies that have rentals available are going to run a credit report, and charge you for it. Renting when you have bad credit when it comes to that option can still happen, but in many cases they will not allow you to rent the place. But some places may be willing to still work with you.
In most cases the best way for renting with bad credit will be to work with an individual who owns a home. A place that they want to rent out and just have the money each month. Some will not even do a credit report on you, but you should still be honest with them.
But there are still other ways to go about renting when you have bad credit. One is finding someone who will recommend you to the landlord. Someone who has good credit and possibly higher standing in the community your looking to rent in.
